garbage是什么意思

garbage只作名词，没有形容词形式。

（1）waste material, such as paper, empty containers and food thrown away垃圾

例如：Can you take out the garbage when you go?

你走的时候把垃圾带出去好吗？

（2）stupid words, ideas, etc.蠢话，废话，愚蠢的想法

例如：You are talking garbage.

你在胡说八道。

（3）garbage in, garbage out：used to say that if the data you put into a computer is bad, the results you get back will be bad, even if the computer program use works probably无用输入，无用输出（即如果像计算机中输入错误数据，那么输出的也是错误数据）
