delicate和fragile的区别

delicate是指轻柔的,纤细的,需要小心处理的,在表示易碎时更偏向于脆弱的意思. 如：The plate was so delicate that I was afraid to wash it.那盘子非常薄,我简直不敢洗。

The international situation is delicate at present.目前的国际形势很紧张（需要小心处理）。

而fragile只是指东西或物品容易破碎。如：They carefully packed the fragile china into cartons.他们小心地将易碎瓷器装入纸箱。

The thin glass is fragile. 薄玻璃容易碎。
